Early morning fire on South Anthony Boulevard leaves 1 dead

One person is dead after a fire early Saturday morning in Fort Wayne, according to firefighters.

Stoppers at 260- 436-786.

An apartment fire on south anthony blvd leaves a person dead tonight.

Just before two o'clock this morning, the fort wayne fire department arrived at the residence and saw fire coming from the windows in the apartment.

After several crew members got the fire under control, they searched the apartment and found a person inside.

As of now, the fire is still under investigation.
