The Metropolitan Police Service says there has been "no activity" on the phone of missing teenager Richard Okorogheye.
The student has not been seen by his family since 22 March when he left their home in the Ladbroke Grove area.
Police investigating his disappearance are now conducting searches in Essex after CCTV captured the 19-year-old in Loughton in the early hours of Tuesday March 23.

Shadow Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds described a government minister's appearance on Question Time as "incredibly embarrassing" after he appeared to ask if Rwanda and Congo were different countries. When discussing the government policy of deporting asylum seekers to Rwanda, policing minister Chris Philp responded to an audience member’s question during the BBC One programme by asking: “Rwanda is a different country of Congo, isn’t it?”
Mr Reynolds said the Rwanda scheme has caused "significant damage to the reputation of the UK around the world." The government's Rwanda bill, which was passed in parliament last week, says any asylum seeker entering the UK "illegally" after 1 January 2022, from a safe country such as France, could be sent to Rwanda.

The world's first personalised mRNA cancer jab for melanoma is being tested on British patients. Steve Young, 52, from Stevenage, joined a clinical trial after being diagnosed with the potentially deadly form of skin cancer. Dr Heather Shaw, an investigator for the trial, said the jab had the potential to cure people with melanoma and is being tested in other cancers.
“This is one of the most exciting things we’ve seen in a really long time," she said.

The blast left at least 10 people injured in Brookfield, East Bengaluru, and the investigation was recently handed over to the NIA. At least nine people were injured in an explosion at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe on Friday. The blast occurred around 1:00 pm at the Whitefield branch of the cafe in the city’s Rajajinagar. Initially, it was speculated that a gas leak could have triggered the blast, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said it was an “improvised explosive” in a bag kept by an unidentified man. A day after an explosion at Bengaluru's Rameshwaram Cafe, CCTV footage has emerged showing a man carrying a bag inside the cafe's premises.

Popular social media influencer Soumya Shetty, also known as Soumya Killampally, has been taken into custody by the authorities in connection with a gold theft case. The incident occurred at flat 102 of Balaji Metro Residency in the Dondaparthy area on February 23. The flat owner, Prasad Babu, lodged a complaint with the police, alleging the theft of 150 tolas of gold ornaments from his residence. Following the complaint, law enforcement initiated an investigation. The forensic team gathered fingerprints from the flat and scrutinised the CCTV footage. As a result of their findings, suspicion arose around eleven individuals, leading to the detention and questioning of three suspects.
