The heroic video, filmed in the city of Tianmen in Hubei Province on April 25, shows around 20 pedestrians in a river flipping a car over and then helping the passengers escape the vehicle through the window.

According to reports, the car crashed into the river upside down near the No.3 Primary School in Mayang Town.

Three adults and one child in the car were all rescued successfully.

The cause is under further investigation.
