The seventh International Yoga Day was celebrated at the iconic Times Square in New York on Sunday. The day-long yoga festival with the theme of Solstice in Times Square 2021 was attended by more than 3,000 people who filled Times Square to mark the start of summer.

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on May 09 slammed Central government over COVID vaccines exported to other countries. He said, "Govt of India exported COVID vaccines to 93 countries in last 3 months. It gave 6.5 crore doses to them. Around 1 lakh people have died of COVID during the second wave in India. If not exported, these vaccines could have saved the lives of these people." "Was it (export of vaccines to other countries) done just to improve the image of Central government?" he asked.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday urged the Centre to maintain 700 MT of medical oxygen supply to Delhi, claiming that the quantity received by the city has dipped in the past two days. Delhi has a current need of 700 metric tonnes (MT) of oxygen. On May 5, Delhi received for the first time 730 MT of oxygen, thanks to the Centre, he said.
