Around 70 firefighters continued to work through steep and rough terrain to battle the Platte River Fire in southwestern Jefferson County Friday, which was 31 acres at last update and 0% contained.

Crews are responding to a wildfire in Jefferson County west of Roxborough State Park. It appears to have started Thursday afternoon from a downed power line, according to Jeffco officials.
