Austin Police Department Interim Chief Joseph Chacon said it was an isolated incident between the two parties.
"Our first 911 call was received at 1:24 a.m., and were followed by multiple 911 calls in which we had..
We have reports of shots being fired in the 400 block of East 6th Street, very near the corner actually of 4th and Trinity.
There was a large crowd of people that were there at that time - this was Friday night in our downtown entertainment district." "We have two victims that remain in critical condition, and then we have 12 victims that right now are in stable condition.
Almost all of these victims are innocent bystanders." The Austin Police Department said on Saturday evening that one suspect had been arrested.
Officers were continuing to follow up on leads to apprehend the remaining suspect.

Supreme Court Pauses , Implementation of Immigration Law in Texas.
On March 4, the Supreme Court temporarily stopped the state from enforcing a law that gives Texas the authority to arrest and detain those it suspects to be illegal immigrants. .
The administrative hold, issued by Justice
Samuel Alito, will keep the law from going
into effect until March 13, CNN reports. .
It was previously scheduled
to go into effect on March 10.
An emergency application was filed by
immigration groups and the White House
in an attempt to block the law. .
According to the Justice Department, the law would "profoundly" impact the parameters that have "existed between the United States and the States in the context of immigration for almost 150 years.".
Immigration advocates say that Senate Bill 4 will increase instances of racial profiling, detentions and attempted deportations. .
A federal judge in Austin blocked Texas
from implementing the law last week. .
If allowed to proceed, SB 4 could open the door to each state passing its own version of immigration laws, Judge David Alan Ezra, via statement.

Walmart Reverses Course, , Closes Down Its , Walmart Health Division.
NBC reports that Walmart has announced
it will close all 52 of the doctor-staffed
health clinics the company operates.
The announcement comes as
part of the company's decision to
shut down its Walmart Health Initiative.
Clinics that will close down are located in
Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois and Texas. .
On April 30, the company also said it would
begin winding down its virtual care service.
The decision to end the Walmart Health Initiative
will not reportedly impact Walmart
pharmacies and vision centers.
Walmart said that it will work to direct current patients
to other providers covered by their insurance
networks to ensure they continue to receive care.
NBC reports that the news comes as a swift
reversal of Walmart's plan to expand its number
of doctor-staffed clinics to 70 by the end of 2024.

not a sustainable business
