Discovery fighting to protect Polish news network
A new bill in Poland could ban Discovery from owning TVN24, one of the country’s last independent sources of TV news.
Discovery executive David Leavy says the channel has weathered “intimidation, harassment, arbitrary threatening of our journalists, denying of access,” and says the company will continue to defend press freedom.
