Cache Fire Destroys Dozens Of Homes, Scorches 80 Acres In Lake County

About 50 homes were destroyed and nearly 1,600 people were evacuated when the Cache Fire tore through a neighborhood in Lake County Wednesday afternoon.

As of late Wednesday night, the fire has burned 80 acres and is 20% contained.
