Sarah Everard: UK inquiry launched into 'unimaginable failures' around policeman's murder of woman
The UK home secretary has announced there will be an independent inquiry into police failings following the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving police officer.
Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer says “victims of violence deserve better” during a spat with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in the House of Commons over the killing of Sarah Everard. Mr Starmer continued saying, “it needs to be taken seriously, it’s not games Prime Minister”.
