The house of a junior scientist of the state pollution control board was raided on Sunday and assets worth more than Rs 7 crore were unearthed.
The raid was conducted was the The Economic Offences Wing and the assets found were disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The junior scientist, identified as Sushil Kumar Mishra was recruited as a lab assistant in MPPCB and was promoted as junior scientist in 2020.
