Even as the youth in several states have been staging a violent protest against the center’s Agnipath defense recruitment scheme, the Indian Air force on Sunday released details of the recruitment process which will be from the 24th of June.
The Indian Air Force deployed its MI 17 V5 helicopter on Saturday (April 27) to combat the forest fires ravaging the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, as confirmed by the state’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami. Utilising a "Bambi Bucket," the helicopter retrieved water from Bhimtal Lake, situated near Nainital, and discharged it onto the flames engulfing the forests.
