Ukrainian boy dies in hospital after six-hour rescue in Mykolaiv

An 11-year-old boy who was pulled out alive after spending six hours trapped under rubble in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, on Thursday, October 13, died in a hospital that night, according to the governor the Mykolaiv Oblast, Vitaliy Kim.

According to the city’s mayor, Oleksandr Sienkevych, two upper floors of a five-story building were completely destroyed by a Russian artillery strike and the rest of the building collapsed into rubble.
