Suspicious Man is Pulled Over and Arrested for DUI in Delray Beach

DELRAY BEACH, FL - At 4:30PM on January 4th, 2020, bystanders who call into dispatch flagged down a Delray Beach police officer who claimed that a driver and his passenger were slumped over at the wheel passed out in their vehicle.

Upon awakening, the suspect drove off down the road, but the witnesses gave the officer the suspect's license plate.

After relaying to dispatch, another officer found the suspect and initiated a traffic stop.

The suspect stepped out of the vehicle and his identification was verified.

The officers observed an empty alcoholic beverage in the car to which the suspect claimed was not recently consumed.

Upon medical evaluation, the responding firefighters told the officers that the suspect's eyes were "pinpoint."
