Biden 'furious' after Palestinian leader lauds Putin; 'Russia's stand clear unlike U.S'

The Palestinian President's praise of Putin has 'deeply disappointed' the U.S. The White House has expressed its anger after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas picked Russia over the U.S. on a peace settlement with Israel.

The White House NSC spokesperson told Axios that Putin is a far cry from the type of international partner that can help solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The remark comes after the Palestinian President told Putin that they have "no trust" in the U.S. during a meeting with the Russian President on October 13.
