Could Scotland win the UK Space Race after Cornwall failure?

After first attempt to launch a satellite into space from UK soil from Cornwall failed recently, Scotland has taken over pole position to win the UK Space Race.

In Shetland, on the shores of the UK's most northerly islands, construction has been completed on the launch facility of a new spaceport.

All it needs now is approval from the Civil Aviation Authority.
