Memphis officers formally arraigned, plead not guilty in death of Tyre Nichols

The five former Memphis police officers charged with killing 29-year-old Tyre Nichols plead not guilty to second degree murder.

The formal arraignment was held Friday at the Shelby County Criminal Court with the Nichols family present.

It has been two months since police and traffic cameras recorded the officers brutally beating Nichols during a traffic stop.
