Protesters in Paris Burn Bins After Pension Bill Passes
Angry demonstrators in Paris set bins and plastic bags on Fire on Monday night, after the government survived two votes of no-confidence.
Some have even called for the resignation of French President Emmanuel Macron over his divisive pension bill, which raises Franceâs retirement age from 62 to 64.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has launched a scathing attack on French President Emmanuel Macron and German opposition leader Friedrich Merz, accusing them of attempting to revive Europe's imperialist past. Speaking at a diplomatic event, Lavrov warned that Western leaders were reverting to their âformer instinctsâ of conquest and domination, drawing chilling comparisons between todayâs political climate and Nazi-era atrocities.
