First Minister Humza Yousaf says the past 24 hours have been "challenging and difficult" after former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell was released without charge by the police, pending further investigation into party finances.

A bus mounted the pavement on Victoria Street, central London, at around 8.20am on Thursday, injuring 17 people. Two were treated at the scene, while 15, including the bus driver, were taken to hospital. A witness described the scene, saying: "There was a lot of people...
