Recalling the violence that erupted outside the Indian High Commission in London, India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said ‘things do get under my skin’ when India doesn't get respect.
He was speaking about a group of Khalistan supporters who demonstrated outside the Indian Mission in the UK, sloganeered with flags and posters of Khalistani separatist Amritpal Singh in March.
The foreign minister said and I quote, "Things get under my skin when people don't respect India.
I had actually landed from a plane when I saw this man climbing up the Indian High Commission in London and was trying to pull down the flag.
It got under my skin."

In an exclusive conversation with OneIndia News, Vlada Galan – Geopolitical Strategist; President & Chair, International Ukrainian Crisis Fund, says that Trump used India as a Pawn to pressure Putin into a Summit. Vlada however clears that the sanctions on India were nothing personal against India and only a pressure-tactic against Putin, which played a role to some extent to get the Alaska meeting in place.

During the live coverage of the historic Trump–Putin meeting in Alaska, a heated debate broke out between Burzine Waghmar SOAS, University of London, and journalist Nagen Singh of OneIndia News. Waghmar argued that Russia’s economy is overheated and claimed Putin cannot sustain the Ukraine war beyond a year. He also questioned India’s obsession with Moscow and the romanticization of Indo-Russian ties. Countering him, Singh accused the West of hypocrisy and blamed the UK and U.S. for India’s deep-rooted closeness with Russia.

In an exclusive conversation with OneIndia News, Vlada Galan – Geopolitical Strategist; President & Chair, International Ukrainian Crisis Fund, says that Putin is running short of time and this time around Trump has called out his bluff. Vlada adds that Putin will suffer consequences as Trump is not afraid to impose secondary sanctions on Russia's largest trading partners. Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, was attacked by Khalistani terrorists on July 9. At least nine shots were fired at the café in a shocking nighttime drive-by assault. No injuries were reported. Babbar Khalsa-linked terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility, citing an old remark by Sharma. Laddi, wanted by the NIA for multiple killings, including a VHP leader, remains at large. The attack has reignited concerns over Khalistani extremists operating from Canadian soil with growing impunity.
