Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in the United States for a historic visit aiming to strengthen ties and collaboration between the two countries.
PM Modi is visiting the western country on the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
The Prime Minister of India written airplane landed in the JFK airport, where India-American diplomats greeted the Indian Prime Minister.
PM Modi's visit to US will begin in New York where he will lead the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga at the United Nations Headquarters on June 21.
PM Modi was seen shaking hands with the enthusiastic Indian diaspora members who waved the Indian flag and had earlier asserted that the Prime Minister's visit was crucial to the community.
In a scathing critique of previous Congress administrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lambasted their approach to dealing with Pakistan's terrorism. Modi likened their efforts to sending "love letters" to Pakistan in a bid for peace, only to witness a surge in terrorist activities as a result. His remarks underscored the need for a more assertive stance against terrorism, emphasising the imperative of safeguarding national security. Furthermore, Modi alleged that Pakistani leaders are actively advocating for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to ascend to India's prime ministership post-election. However, Modi firmly asserted that India, in its pursuit of strength and security, unequivocally demands a resilient and steadfast government.
