Travel Update-Governor urges Tourists To Come Back Maui

After the wildfires ripped through Lahaina, the Governor of Hawaii first urged tourists not to travel there for fear that it would hamper their rescue or recovery efforts.

Now three weeks later, Governor Green is changing his message.

He is now saying that Hawaii needs your support.

Many businesses are also asking tourists to come back as they rely on tourism to stay in business.

While Laihana remains closed, many other parts of Hawaii are open.
