Work Habits are Changing in the U.S.

A new report reveals that work work habits are changing in the United States.

Just under half of those going back to the office for work are now spending fewer than six hours a day at their offices.

According to the recent report released by workplace occupancy analytics firm Basking, 43% of North Americans who returned to the office are working less than six hours revealing some major changes in traditional work habits.

The remaining 57% or 3 out of 5 workers going to the office worked more than six hours.

The report focuses on the first six months of 2023.

According to the research, this is a huge drop from pre-pandemic times when around 84% of people clocking in worked for six hours or more.

Basking used Wifi usage to measure office occupancy and visits.
