Israeli forces kill one Palestinian in the West Bank during raid

Israeli forces have carried out a raid in the northern West Bank village of Al-Aqaba killing one Palestinian.

Abdul Rahim Fayez Ghannam was shot in the head, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

This year has been deadliest since 2005 for Palestinians in the West Bank and Israel, according to OCHA, the United Nations’ humanitarian agency.

So far this year, at least 225 Palestinians and 32 Israelis have been killed in violence linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
