Barclay: Militant BMA is not on the side of patients
Health Secretary Steve Barclay has announced he will make changes to the NHS to ensure the "dignity and safety" of patients and "protect the rights" of women.
During his speech at the Conservative Party Conference, he also chastised the "militant" British Medical Association as not "being on the side of change or patients".

The prime minister has held a phone call with the US president after agreeing a "historic" trade deal. Speaking from the White House, Donald Trump says there could not be a "more perfect morning to reach this historic agreement", given that the deal has been announced on the same day that Europe celebrated victory in World War II.
