PM refuses to criticise Home Sec over homelessness comments
The prime minister has refused to criticise Suella Braverman for claiming that rough sleeping is a "lifestyle choice", but stopped short of repeating her comments.
Rishi Sunak was speaking on a visit to an energy facility in Norfolk, where he hailed the government's "long term decisions" over net zero "that will change our country for the better".

The neighbour of a woman who was mauled to death by XL Bully dogs, says she never saw muzzled dogs anywhere on the estate. Aimee Marston said "We've never ever seen an XL Bully. If they were registered, we would have seen muzzled dogs but I've got two ex-racing greyhounds and we walk them all the time and we never ever see muzzled dogs on the estate." The first victims of the infected blood scandal will receive their final compensation payment before the end of the year, minister John Glen has said. In a statement delivered to the House of Commons, Mr Glen said the payments would be exempt from income, capital gains, and inheritance tax.
