Bihar Assembly Passes Landmark Reservation Amendment, Expanding Quotas to 75% | Oneindia

The Bihar Legislative Assembly unanimously approved the Bihar Reservation Amendment Bill, proposing a hike in reservation limits from 50% to 65% for SCs, STs, EBCs, and OBCs.

With an additional 10% EWS quota, the total reservation reaches 75%, leaving 25% unreserved.

The bill awaits consideration in the Upper House for implementation.
