U.S. has announced a 90-day pause on new China tariffs, sparking speculation that President Trump may be softening his stance under pressure from Beijing. The move follows recent talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, raising questions over whether this is a tactical delay or a sign of Washington backing down in the high-stakes trade war.

As Trump imposes sweeping tariffs on India and China, leaders Modi, Xi, and Putin are coordinating a strategic response. Modi and Putin held a phone call to review bilateral ties, with Trump accusing India of funding Russiaâs war via oil trade. Xi also spoke with Putin, urging diplomacy with the U.S. but slamming Trumpâs âbullyâ tactics. The growing BRICS unity signals a serious counterweight to Washingtonâs tariff war, as all three powers challenge what they call unfair and illegal U.S. trade pressure.

Donald Trump has introduced a new strategy to deter illegal immigration: painting the southern border wall black. Kristi Noem revealed the move, saying the black paint will absorb more heat, making the wall harder to climb while extending its durability. Border officials claim construction is advancing at half a mile per day, with added sensors and cameras. Interim El Paso Sector Chief Walter Slosar said migrant apprehensions have dropped dramatically, highlighting Trumpâs tougher enforcement compared to Biden.

The high-stakes White House summit between Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky, and EU leaders has ended in deadlock. Trump pushed a radical shift from Bidenâs massive aid packages to direct U.S. weapons sales via EU partners, while Putin dismissed the peace framework as a direct threat to Russia. With âterritorial adjustmentsâ floated as part of a land-for-peace approach, the summit has exposed deep divides on the future of Ukraine.

In a jaw-dropping moment at the White House summit, President Trump publicly humiliated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by flatly rejecting any future U.S. financial aid â declaring that Ukraine must now buy weapons instead of receiving support. While Zelensky reportedly made a passionate appeal for continued American backing, Trump stunned allies by drawing a hard line, contrasting his approach with Bidenâs past $300 billion in aid.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbĂĄn delivered a striking endorsement of the Trump-Putin Alaska summit, declaring that âthe world is a safer place today than it was yesterday.â OrbĂĄn praised the meeting as a long-overdue reset between the two biggest nuclear powers, accusing President Joe Biden of dismantling the framework of U.S.-Russia cooperation. The Hungarian leader said Trump and Putin had ended years of hostility and reopened the path to dialogue. His remarks were hailed by Moscow and welcomed by Trump allies, while Western critics warned OrbĂĄn was legitimizing Putinâs war agenda. Both Trump and Putin reportedly agreed that Bidenâs approach had accelerated tensions instead of resolving them. The summit, which ended without a ceasefire deal in Ukraine, continues to send shockwaves across Europe. OrbĂĄnâs comments add fuel to an already divisive global debate over whether the Alaska meeting represents peace progress or dangerous appeasement.

In a fiery declaration, U.S. President Donald Trump has officially axed all federal funding for Californiaâs long-delayed and over-budget high-speed rail project. Calling it the âHIGH SPEED TRAIN TO NOWHERE,â Trump accused Governor Gavin Newsomâmockingly dubbed âNewscumââof overseeing a $130 billion disaster that has delivered nothing but cost overruns and broken promises. Despite decades of work and billions spent, the rail line connecting San Francisco to Los Angeles remains incomplete and years behind schedule. Trump praised Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy for ensuring that not âa single pennyâ more will be wasted on the project. The move not only highlights Trumpâs disdain for the project but also signals a political jab at one of his most prominent Democratic rivals. With this announcement, Trump rallies fiscal conservatives and taxpayers, painting himself as the guardian of their wallets against Californiaâs âboondoggle.â

Chaos erupted on the streets of San Francisco on Tuesday as federal immigration agents clashed violently with protesters outside a city courthouse. The confrontation, now being called the most violent of its kind in the city this year, saw Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents using aggressive tactics against a group of approximately 20 demonstrators.
The tense situation began around 11:18 a.m. when ICE agents attempted toescort a detained man from the courthouse. Protesters quickly formed a human chain, using their bodies and bicycles to block the exit while shouting anti-ICE slogans. In response, several agents, with their faces covered, were seen deploying pepper spray, pushing protesters to the ground with batons, and yelling expletives. The situation escalated dramatically when one agent brandished a rifle to intimidate the crowd.
The most shocking moment occurred when a black SUV, reportedly waiting for the agents, sped through the crowd of protesters. Witnesses reported that a woman was thrown from the hood of the moving vehicle, which then almost ran her over a block away. This incident has sparked outrage and raises serious questions about the use of force by federal agents during public demonstrations in the United States.

Ahead of the United States' Independence Day celebrations, federal agencies have issued a serious warning about potential terrorist attacks, specifically from lone wolf actors. This elevated threat level is a direct consequence of escalating tensions in the Middle East, where the U.S. has become more involved in the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. The situation intensified after U.S. B-2 Spirit bombers conducted a major operation on June 22, dropping heavy bunker buster bombs on three of Iran's nuclear facilities in a strategic move to aid Israel.
In response to the potential for retaliatory attacks, security has been visibly bolstered across the country. New York Governor Kathy Hochul has identified lone wolves as the "greatest threat" to July 4th events, announcing an increased presence of State Police and the deployment of National Guard units at major transportation hubs, bridges, and tunnels throughout New York City. Authorities are also closely monitoring social media for any signs of cyber threats or domestic terror plots.
The threat is not limited to New York. An FBI bulletin has specifically warned that San Francisco's famous fireworks show could be a target for a mass casualty attack. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has officially raised the national threat level to "Heightened" and stated it will remain in effect until September 22, citing the direct link to the escalating conflict between Iran and the U.S. While no specific or credible plots have been identified, federal and state agencies remain on high alert to counter any security situation that may arise during the holiday.

President Donald Trump has nominated State Department spokesperson and longtime Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce as the next U.S. deputy representative to the United Nations. Bruce, a fierce defender of Trumpâs âAmerica Firstâ policies, has served as State Department spokesperson since his inauguration in January. Known for defending the administrationâs tough stances on immigration, Russiaâs war in Ukraine, and Israelâs Gaza offensive, Bruce is expected to bring combative rhetoric to the UN stage.
Her appointment will require Senate confirmation, where Republicans hold a majority. Trump praised her âfantastic jobâ at State, while Bruce called the role an honor and vowed to continue advancing U.S. priorities abroad. She will serve under Mike Waltz, Trumpâs pick for UN envoy, whose confirmation is pending. The move signals Trumpâs push for loyalist voices in high-profile diplomatic posts at a time of intense geopolitical tensions.
