Police have filed charges against a professor at the National Institute of Technology β Calicut for a post that allegedly praised Nathuram Godse.
On the anniversary of Gandhi's death, Professor Dr. A Shaija posted on Facebook, expressing pride in Godse for "saving India." This comment was made in response to an advocate's post hailing Godse as a hero.
Although Shaija deleted the comment afterward, screenshots circulated widely, leading to legal action.
