Vote counting for Pakistan's 12th general elections, held on February 8, has concluded, and the latest results show candidates supported by cricketer-turned-politician and jailed former prime minister Imran Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has got the most seats of the 266 National Assembly seats that went for polling.
PTI was denied its election symbol, the bat, by the country's Election Commission, and, therefore, it could not contest the polls.
Instead, it was forced to field its candidates as independents.
A Pakistani court has suspended the 14-year jail term of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife in the Toshakhana corruption case. Stay updated with the latest developments on this story.
