Akhilesh Yadav Reacts To Om Birla’s Election As The Speaker, Says There Will Be ‘No More Expulsion’

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav congratulated the newly elected Lok Sabha Speaker and extended best wishes on behalf of his colleagues.

He highlighted the glorious traditions of the Speaker's post and emphasised the importance of impartiality, urging equal opportunities and respect for all members and parties.

Yadav called for no stifling of voices or expulsions and insisted that the Speaker's control should extend to both the Opposition and the ruling side.

He expressed hope that the Speaker would respect the Opposition as much as the ruling party, allowing them to present their views.
