Sarah Michelle Gellar is joining the 'Dexter' family!
The Emmy winner has signed onto 'Dexter: Original Sin,' which follows a young Dexter Morgan played by Patrick Gibson as he becomes an avenging serial killer in Miami.

Dexter Morgan is very much not dead. The highly anticipated sequel series to 'Dexter,' 'Dexter: Resurrection,' has finally set a release date and dropped a teaser trailer reintroducing the world to the famed serial killer played by Michael C. Hall as titular serial killer Dexter Morgan. 'Dexter: Resurrection' will premiere on Friday, July 11 on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, before its on-air debut Sunday, July 13. It will debut with two episodes with remaining episodes rolling out weekly.
