Southport residents left devastated by knife attack
Officers from Merseyside fire and rescue service were amongst residents in Southport laying floral tributes following the knife attack on Monday which killed three children.
A 17-year-old boy, born in Cardiff, is being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following the attack in Hart Street, Southport, on Monday, 29 July.

The Government has pledged £5 million for a renovation project in memory of the three young girls murdered in Southport. There was no evidence of "two-tier policing" in the police's handling of riots that erupted after last year's Southport murders, a new report by MPs has found.
