Charlie Hunnam is set to play serial killer Ed Gein in season three of 'Monster.'

Ryan Murphy, the creator of the Netflix anthology series, announced the casting Monday, as well as plans to start production next month.

Following the massive success of 2022's 'Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,' the 'Monster' franchise intends to tackle a different true-crime story with each installment.

Season one of 'The Waterfront' is now streaming on Netflix.
