It seems that Paul Mescal is headed down Abbey Road.
During a conversation at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles, Mescal's 'Gladiator II' director Ridley Scott let slip that the actor may have some scheduling conflicts for their next film collaboration.
In a conversation with Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker Scott asked if Mescal is set to star in his upcoming thriller feature 'The Dog Stars.'
Scott confirmed this as true before correcting himself and explaining that Mescal's schedule may prevent the 'Gladiator II' pair from reuniting on the new film.
According to Scott, the actor is set to star in Sony Pictures' Beatles movies for director Sam Mendes.

We now know when 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum' will hit theaters, as well as the release dates for two other Warner Bros. movies. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema revealed that Andy Serkis' 'The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum' will open in cinemas on December 17th, 2027. Andy Serkis will both direct the movie and star in it. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens — the Oscar-winning team behind the blockbuster 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies — are producing the film.
