The official cause of death for Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband Brandon Blackstock has been revealed. In initial reports regarding his death, it was revealed that Blackstock, who was married to the singer and daytime talk show host, died of cancer. The coroner's office announced that Blackstock died of melanoma, a form of skin cancer that had been present for three years. The professional talent manager died Aug. 7 at age 48.

Lizzo is calling out Sydney Sweeney's controversial American Eagle jeans ad in a new song. The four-time Grammy winner released two clips from a track on social media that name-dropped Sweeney and referenced the viral ad. In a video snippet for her track "I'm Goin' In Till October" she says in part, "I got good jeans like I'm Sydney."

A deadly shooting inside a Brooklyn nightclub has left three people dead and eight others injured, shaking the Crown Heights community. Gunfire erupted around 3:30 a.m. at the Taste of the City Lounge, where NYPD officers later recovered 36 shell casings. Police Commissioner Edward Caban confirmed the suspects remain at large as detectives review surveillance footage and appeal for witnesses.
