Hollywood stars like Jason Isaacs, Pauline Chalamet, Alex Borstein, Alan Ruck and more are advocating for what they call "the right to bear arts." The Hollywood Reporter followed a group of actors and business leaders as they took to Capitol Hill to fight for funding the National Endowment for the Arts, also known as the NEA.
In a high-stakes showdown on Capitol Hill, U.S. Senators clash over President Donald Trump's massive $4.5 trillion “One Big Beautiful Bill.” The controversial package includes extensions of Trump-era tax cuts, increased military funding, and funding for mass deportations and border security — but slashes $1 trillion from subsidized healthcare programs and risks adding $3.3 trillion to the national debt. As the July 4 deadline looms, GOP rebels are blocking votes, Democrats are calling it economic sabotage, and moderates are caught in the crossfire. Will the bill pass — or implode under pressure?
