Wes Streeting has said that Reform UK poses a genuine threat to Labour and is now being regarded as a serious opposition force following the party’s strong performance in the local elections.
Both Labour and the Conservatives are facing pressure to turn around their fortunes after Reform gained control of 10 councils and secured more than 600 seats in Thursday’s polls.
The Health Secretary acknowledged that Reform UK is a significant threat and that his party is taking it seriously.
