Horses in the Village - 6 May 2025
Rain had made our clay sod arena footing way too slippery so we took to the road on Tuesday 6 May 2025 to give the trainee horses additional experience with new to them sights and sounds and smells.
Oakley the 3yr old Paint gelding was ponied off my helper horse Avi.
Nutmeg was ridden solo.
And our route included the fairly nearby Village in order to ensure the trainee horses saw things that were not familiar to them - in order to intentionally work on increasing their personal courage while simultaneously working on increasing their trust in their master (who is calmly exuding "Fear not, you are with me.")
