The IAEA has confirmed that Israelâs recent strikes damaged the underground uranium enrichment halls at Iranâs Natanz facility. While the agency cannot yet inspect the site in person, satellite imagery reveals direct impacts. Earlier, an overground structure was already destroyed. IAEA chief Grossi said the underground centrifuges were likely damaged due to power disruptions. However, Iran's Fordow nuclear site, hidden deep in a mountain, remains untouched. The escalating Israel-Iran conflict now threatens the global nuclear balance as enrichment levels reach dangerously high thresholds.

In a high-stakes move on June 16, 2025, Israel claimed it had destroyed two Iranian F-14 Tomcat fighter jets near Tehran's Mehrabad Airport, hailing it as a blow to Iranâs aerial capabilities. The IDF stated the jets were readying to intercept Israeli aircraft and that the operation also neutralized a drone launch crew.
But the story took a dramatic twistâIran flatly rejected the claim, asserting the âdestroyed jetsâ were nothing more than mock-up decoys, long retired and non-operational. Satellite imagery and defense experts suggest the aircraft hadnât moved in years, lacking weapons, fuel, or even engines.
