Polestar 4 - Crash & Safety Tests - 2025

The Polestar 4 is the third vehicle in the Swedish electric vehicle brand's current product range to receive a five-star rating from Euro NCAP.

The vehicle tests conducted by Euro NCAP include the categories of adult occupants, children, vulnerable road users, and safety assist systems. Like the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 before it, the Polestar 4 achieved five stars in all categories and an overall rating of 86 percent.

The European New Vehicle Assessment Program has been certifying vehicle safety test results since 1997 and awards five stars—the highest possible rating—only to cars that demonstrate outstanding overall crash protection performance and are equipped with the latest crash-avoidance technology.

As the third vehicle in the current Polestar portfolio to achieve the top rating, the Polestar 4 completes the Swedish electric performance brand's range of five-star Euro NCAP electric vehicles.

The Polestar 2 received a 5-star rating in 2021, and earlier this year the Polestar 3 set new standards for child safety with a 5-star rating of 93 percent.
