Four people killed when a medical transport plane crashed at London Southend Airport have been confirmed as foreign nationals, Essex Police Chief Superintendent Morgan Cronin said. Tragedy struck at London Southend Airport as a Beech B200 Super King Air aircraft crashed just seconds after takeoff, erupting into flames and killing all on board. The twin-engine turboprop was en route to Lelystad, Netherlands, when it suddenly banked left, flipped, and plunged nose-first into the ground, creating a massive fireball.

London Southend Airport will remain closed until further notice after a plane crashed in a “fireball”.
