She said around 15,000 students do so each year “even though nothing has changed” in their home countries. A criminal who shot dead the prison officer who found an illicit phone in his jail cell has been jailed for life with a minimum 45 years before parole. Elias Morgan, 35, gunned down father-of-three Lenny Scott, 33, who had found the phone which revealed Morgan was in a sexual relationship with a female prison officer, Preston Crown Court heard. Armed robber Elias Morgan has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 45 years for murdering prison officer Lenny Scott in Skelmersdale.
