Janata curfew is an effort to combat coronavirus spread, introduced by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in the wake of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. The Prime Minister implored all citizens of India to observe a self-imposed 'curfew' from 7 am to 9 pm IST on Sunday, 22 March 2020 to help reduce community spreading of coronavirus disease in India.
