Govt slaps anti-dumping duty on optical fibre imports from China

The government has imposed a five-year anti-dumping duty on import of optical fiber from countries such as China, Korea and Indonesia, after finding them selling at “below normal values” to the detriment of players making in India such as Sterlite Technologies, Birla Furukawa Fibre and American Corning.
