Saint-Gobain to invest Rs 3400 crore in Tamil Nadu

Saint-Gobain, the French construction and industrial materials company, announced that it will invest Rs 3,400 crore in greenfield and brownfield projects in Tamil Nadu. This brings the company's total investment in the state to over Rs 8,000 crore. The investment will be made in various businesses including glasswool, gypsum plasterboard, acoustic ceiling, float glass, and solar glass. Saint-Gobain has a manufacturing facility and a research facility in Tamil Nadu. The company had sales of €51.2 billion in 2022 and employs 168,000 people worldwide.
