Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) shares rise 2%

Shares of Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 2% after receiving approval from Sebi's tech panel to launch a new web-based commodity derivatives platform. The stock initially rallied 4.8% but ended 1.9% higher. MCX's shares hit a 52-week peak during the day. The approval came after Sebi advised the company to delay the launch of the platform, but later withdrew its directions.
