Chinese copper tycoon He Jinbi goes missing

He Jinbi, the founder of Chinese copper trading company Maike Metals International Co, has reportedly been detained by police for questioning. He and Maike have faced legal action from creditors since the company encountered financial difficulties during the Covid-19 lockdowns last year. Maike, which was responsible for a quarter of China's copper imports, has been struggling, and He's detention has caused further uncertainty in the industry.
