Thomson to consider exporting India-made products to global markets, to enter domestic laptop segment

Consumer electronics company Thomson plans to enter the laptop market in India within the next two quarters. The company is also considering exporting smart TVs and other products manufactured in India to foreign markets. Thomson is satisfied with the quality and standards of manufacturing by its India brand licensee, Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd, and is aiming to be among the top five global markets in India.
