Amazon is set to test drone deliveries for prescription drugs in Texas. Customers in College Station will be able to receive prescriptions within an hour of ordering, with the drone flying from a secure pharmacy to their address and dropping the package from a height of around 13 feet. Amazon's Prime Air division has been testing drone deliveries of household items since December 2020.
