Elon Musk’s wealth shrinks by $16 billion after Tesla results
Friday, 20 October 2023 Tesla CEO Elon Musk experienced a drop in his fortune by $16.1 billion following the company's disappointing Q3 earnings report. Tesla's shares plummeted by 9.3%, causing Musk's wealth to decline. Despite this setback, Musk's overall wealth has increased by over $70 billion in 2023. On Wednesday, Elon Musk, who had previously described Tesla as "recession-resilient" last year, voiced apprehensions about the influence of high interest rates on demand.
Despite the pandemic being over, many have retained their remote work status and it’s become somewhat of a norm. However, now Tesla CEO Elon Musk says those who want to continue working from home are “detached from reality” criticizing the movement. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
